Robert Scholz has been providing effective, caring, and research-based treatment to
    children, adolescents and adults since 1995.  Robert has achieved licensure status in
    3 states, and currently maintains his license as a Licensed Professional Counselor in
    the State of Arizona, as well as his California license to practice Marriage and Family
    Therapy.  Additionally, Robert attained certification status as a Nationally Certified
    Counselor (NCC) through the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC).

    Robert's history as a therapist, program administrator, national speaker, researcher,
    professor and writer speaks to his versatility and the respect he has attained in the
    mental health profession, juvenile justice systems, university settings, and various
    religious communities.  Robert strongly believes that couples, families or individual's
    can change, and that the therapeutic relationship can provide the context for "real
    change" to occur.  

    Due to Robert's broad and extensive training, Robert has worked successfully with
    clients exhibiting a wide-range of clinical challenges. Robert is probably best known
    for his work with adolescents and adults,  sometimes within the context of couples
    and families, struggling with addiction, dual-diagnosis, family conflict, and young
    adult issues.  Additionally, Robert specializes in working with men's issues and works
    to create an environment where men feel comfortable with the counseling process.  

    As a marriage and family therapist, Robert has worked with hundreds of individuals,
    couples and families over the course of his career. Additionally, he enjoys conducting
    comprehensive pre-marital counseling utilizing the PREPARE curriculum.
